You are just like me! Only I'm getting old now and I constantly injure myself. I do ParkRun, I don't mind that being the same 5Km every week, but I love running it cities, more to look at. I've run around London, Wales, Bangkok and Australia, plus a few more. Chef was ALWAYS running but somebody had to stay with the kids. I'm getting into Substack!

Just followed you! And yes, we've always had a lot of similarities.

Big cities overwhelm me a bit, I'm tired of dodging the traffic ATM in Athens. Start a parkrun near you and I'll come and do it when we get back, about time you had one in Port Douglas or Mossman.

Oh, by the way, I'm training for a marathon in Vietnam in the autumn. Halong Bay.

MORE! MORE! MORE!

Could read all your travel stories (and running stories and stories of gross bum sweat) over and over.

It's too hot down there, but there is a ParkRun starting in Mareeba soon, that's a bit closer to us than trekking all the way to Atherton. There's run club, free, in Port Douglas, we go most weeks. I don't know of any runners in Mossvegas.

This was hilarious 😂 I knew I needed to read just by the title. Running IS stupid! If you ever catch me running, please kill whatever is chasing me.

Your rancid sweat/deodorant paragraph made me think about smokers who think a spritz of perfume will hide the fact that they just had a cigarette 😂 It doesn't work.
